Hey all, how ya’ll be sorry i’ve been totally m.i.a on keeping ya’ll informed about life and stuff. Well, let’s catch up shall we?
So a few weeks ago, began what i called the 2 weeks of full on awesomeness.
On the 9th of Dec. I flew down to Texas for an assignment. The assignment being to photograph Bonnie and Bhurin’s Wedding! My good friends B&B finally tied the knot and are now by law and for tax reasons married. This wedding was quite possibly the most awesome wedding I’ve ever been to, though i’ve only been to 3 of them.
My first night in Austin, Bhurin promised me some awesome Texan food! He took me to none other, than “The Worst BBQ in Texas”, Rudy’s.

To my delight, the tagline was just a joke! The first thing i noticed was how homey and friendly feeling the restaurant was. Being from New York, everything is soo damn rushed and unfriendly sometimes. But when i got into line, another thing i saw was that most of their soft drinks were all in glass bottles!!!!! I love glass bottled soft drinks, i am one of the believers of the taste is better from glass.

They even had my favorites, Coke and Welches!!!

The girl who was at the counter who took my order was super polite and since it was my first time gave me a sampling of the types of meat they have! I had a taste of the Briskets, Regular, Moist, and Extra Moist! I proceeded to take the Extra Moist!!!!

I got a 1/4 pound of half a pound, it was not right how much i ate. To top it all off, they had Rudy’s famous creamed corn. Now imagine with me, corn + cream cheese + butter+ whipped cream= Rudy’s Cream corn. I had a many spoonfuls of this and felt that I might not survive the meal. However, I did.
What was more awesome, was the clean up, they didn’t have plates just a wax paper type and they put all the meat on it, and then you ate off the paper, it was clean and efficient, not fancy, but hey, i don’t mind. Also they had this hand washer thing that is like as it says, a jacuzzi for your hands.

As we proceeded back to the awesome Kevin’s house, we spent all night playing Call of Duty and prepping food for the wedding, Bhurin was cooking all the food for his own wedding.
Kevin’s good friend Mori (and mine) got into Austin late that night, and Kevin decided to pick up Mori dressed up.

When Mori got back, he brought back his dinner, a Whattaburger, a strawberry shake, which was just syrup, pink, and cold. Then they proceeded to play Call of Duty Black ops, Zombie mode till the wee hours of the morning.

To combat all the moistness of briskets i had, Mori and I worked out the next day in the front yard of Kevin’s house.

And we were the only ones, everyone was just playing video games and Bhurin was busy cooking for his own wedding!

The next day, was the Wedding, for purposes of not making this entry longer than it already is, I’ll show ya’ll later, but here’s B&B

And a Sneak peek at next week’s update!!!
